Feeling Blessed

Hey Y'all!
Well this week was just wonderful in so many ways!  I am just feeling so blessed and so grateful.

MONDAY was a great day.  Sister Porter and I had a great time playing Phase 10... again :)  That is our favorite thing to do on P Days.    My studies were just awesome on monday.  I was just feeling so blessed to know that we can have eternal families in this gospel.  Heavenly Father truly does want all of his children to be happy and feel a sense of stability and belonging.  We receive these feelings through our families.  Families provide us with the greatest feelings of love and joy, but also sorrow and pain.  But if we look at our families with an eternal perspective, we can always learn from every situation and find the positive.  We had dinner with the Bell family.  They are just awesome.  They are evidence that the gospel really does bless individuals and families.  I love spending time with the members here.  I learn so much from them!

TUESDAY was just awesome!!!!  Sister Porter and I tried out this new thing where we get up 7  minutes to 6:30 so we can have a full half hour of exercise.  We tried it, and have done it every day since.  Our day just seemed to go so much better. Everything went the way it was supposed to.  We were able to have a great lesson with Liz on service.  We also had the chance to see a potential investigator and gain two new investigators from that visit.  We are excited to teach that family!!

WEDNESDAY was another great day!  We had a wonderful visit with two more potential investigators about the plan of Salvation and the Hallelujah video.  We have a return appointment with them this week.  They seemed so prepared for the Gospel.  We are just so excited to teach them!  They have their own ideas about things, but oddly enough, those ideas are the same as our beliefs in the church. So teaching them is going to be so great.  We also had a great lesson with a less active member.  He is this huge samoan guy from the islands!  He thinks that us just coming over is church for him, but we got him to pray about coming to church.  So he is making good progress!

THURSDAY was the beginning of the rain.  Storms here in Florida are nothing like any storm i have ever experienced.  You can literally feel the storm.  When it thunders, it shakes the walls and windows and you just feel it in your bones.  haha its pretty insane.  We had a great member present lesson with liz.  We talked about the importance of the Book of Mormon.  Liz has such a great testimony and was just so excited and ready for her Baptism!

FRIDAY was just crazy!  Probably one of my favorite days this week though!  We were able to visit a recent convert sister who hasn't really been coming to church.  We had a great visit with her.  She has the greatest desire to be sealed to her late husband!  So we will be helping her prepare for that.  Our favorite member, Tammy, came out with us for the afternoon.  We had some awesome lessons with the people we visited.  Our investigator, Vera, is just so inspiring.  She is going through the tail end of her treatments for Breast Cancer, and is just a trooper.  She has so much faith and knows that everything she has is from the lord.  She is just amazing.  I get strength just from being around her.

SATURDAY was the long anticipated Baptism for Liz!  It was such a special day.  We started off the day right and had an awesome breakfast with miss tammy and helped her with some packing in preparation for her move.  We then prepared for Liz's Baptism.  Filling up the font was just the best. We set up the chairs and all that jazz.  The Baptism was small, but it was perfect.  Liz was just beaming.  Bishop Ard was the one to Baptize her.  We showed the Hallelujah video while she was getting dried off and changed.  The spirit was just so strong when it said, " even so in christ shall all be made alive."  I am not sure if i mentioned this before, but liz has had two sisters pass away within the last 10 years or so.  I am positive that they were there at her baptism.  There was such a special spirit there.  I know that they both are so proud of liz and can't wait to have her do baptisms for them.  We also had the chance to watch the General Women's Broadcast at the church.  That was just so great.  I boo-hooed the whole time.  The spirit just bore a powerful witness to the truthfulness of the things that were shared.  I Love this Gospel so much and i am so happy to be a member of the church.

SUNDAY was easter and a great one at that.  I absolutely love easter.  Celebrating the  resurrection of Christ is just awesome.  The Bonifay ward put on a beautiful musical program all centered on the savior.  Again, i was just so overcome by the spirit that i was just crying.  Emotions definitely get the best of me.  Liz was also confirmed a member of the church and given the Gift of the Holy Ghost.  That was a wonderful experience as well.  She was just glowing with the light of the spirit.  She is such a sweet lady!  She has so much to look forward to in her new found life in the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

I know that the Savior lives.  I know that he Loves each of us so deeply.  Even though he was despised and rejected of men, he suffered the Atonement for each of us and was crucified to bring forth the resurrection.  I am so grateful for the knowledge we have of our LIVING Savior.  As we strive to understand and apply the atonement in our lives each day, we will become more like the savior and grow closer to him in the process. I love that we can find ourselves when we lose ourselves in the service of others.  When we are serving others, we are serving our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Sure do Love and miss y'all!  Have a blessed week!

#HALLELUJAH

Hey Y'all!

So this week was just super crazy!  We had to get everything together for Mikayla's Baptism, speaking in sacrament meeting, and exchanges with our dear Sister Training Leaders.  It was rough, but it ended up being a great week!
I am going to be honest and say this week was a rough one for me.  As missionaries, we can get discouraged, distracted, and just plain ole tired.  But one good thing always comes from those kinds of weeks.  Learning to rely wholly on the Lord, and trust in His timing.  Sometimes we all just get stuck in this spiritual rut.  But it is the Atonement of Jesus Christ that lifts us out, and encourages and strengthens us to press forward with steadfastness.

Exchanges were much needed! They have changed the ways they do exchanges, so now instead of one of us staying in our area, and the other going to the other area, we both go to the STL's area.  So Sister Porter and I drove to Calloway on Friday afternoon.  I was with Sister Kinghorn, and Sister Porter went with Sister Haught.  We learned so much on the exchange.  The main thing that I was able to take away from the exchange was that we should never allow doubt to dig up the faith we have already planted.  It reminds me of a quote from President Uchtdorf that i absolutely love. "Doubt your doubts before you doubt your faith."   Faith not the first principle of the gospel for fun.  It is faith that motivates us to do everything else.  I also realized that faith and trust are two completely different concepts.  But to have a firm faith in the savior, we must trust Him.  I am still learning how to trust myself, and most importantly, to trust in the Lord.

Sunday was just a super crazy day.  We had ward council, spoke in sacrament meeting, had lunch with some members, and attended Mikayla's Baptism.  Sister Porter and I were asked to speak in sacrament meeting on missionary work.  Sister Porter spoke on the importance of preparing for a mission, and did a wonderful job!  I was asked to speak on how the members can help us with the work.  To make a long talk short, i changed the roles, and pretty much said that the way the ward members can help us, is to let us help them with their missionary work.  Every member is a missionary.  :)
Mikayla's Baptism was AWESOME!!!  The spirit was so strong.  She had a ton of friends and family there to support her.  She was just beaming with the light of the spirit.  She is just so ready for a new beginning in life.  She is stellar!

So, minus my spiritual rut, stress and travels, we had a wonderful week.  There is always something positive to take from anything we encounter in life.  I am so grateful to have the Gospel of Jesus Christ on the earth today.    For the longest time, i knew that i had a solid relationship and faith in our Heavenly Father, but always felt as though i was lacking in my faith in the Savior.  I know that our savior lives.  I know that he is the one that makes all things possible.  Christ is our rock, our foundation.  When we build upon him, nothing can tear us down.  I love that we all can access the Atonement of Jesus Christ in our daily lives.  We are able to partake of not only the redeeming power, but also the strengthening and enabling power of the Atonement.  My heart is full of gratitude.
I hope that we all can take a moment and remember what it is that we will be celebrating this coming Sunday.  Think of Christ and how you have found new life through him.  I have found new life through Christ.  This new life has brought with it  joy, and tremendous peace.

Love yall!
Have a very blessed week!

Hey Y'all!!

It feels like it has been months since last P-Day.  Time on the mission is just really weird sometimes.  The days feel like weeks and the weeks feel like days, and months feel like weeks.  Its insane.  The days just seemed to go on and on this week, but yet here I am again gathering my experiences from the week to share with y'all.
This week was full of great things.  It was a busy week with Zone Conference, and Stake Conference.  They both were wonderful, and very inspiring.

MONDAY was a fun day.  We went to the church and played Phase 10 with all the other missionaries in our district.  We have an elder who is just amazing at cooking an baking.  So he made German Pancakes for us with sausage and potatoes.  It sure was yummy!  Once our preparation day was over, we headed over to Bishop and Sister Ard's house for dinner and Family Home Evening.  They invited a less active family we have been working with.  We had an activity lesson based on the Gospel of Jesus Christ.  It went really well.  It was great to have this less active family see how the gospel truly does bless families.  Once we were in for the night, Sister Porter and I thought that it would be a good idea to fast together for the purpose of becoming more consecrated in our efforts as missionaries.  We started our 24 hour fast that night before going to bed.

TUESDAY we didn't have district meeting due to Zone Conference this week. So instead, we drove out to see a recent convert, and tried visiting some less actives that live in that same area.  No one we planned to see was home, but we felt impressed to go to a less active sister's house.  We visited with her and got to know her a bit.  It was nice, and i think we may have planted a seed with her and her daughter.  Later in the afternoon we went to the nursing home to scoop ice cream for the old folks.  That is always fun.  This particular day was a bit challenging, fasting and all.  This elderly woman yelled at us and told us to give her the ice cream she wanted, not what her doctor tells her she can have.  It was an adventure haha.  We had a great lesson with Liz, who is getting baptized on the 26th. We all went to our other investigator's house so she could cut liz's hair.  What was neat was that Liz asked Ariel if she was getting baptized.  Ariel said that she was still thinking about it, but that she liked coming to church every week.  It was just neat to see how excited liz was for her baptism and wanted Ariel to make that same choice.  We haven't been able to commit Ariel to baptism yet, but I think it will happen soon! She just needs to let the spirit work within her.
The purpose of our fast was to make a list of things that we need to do or not do to be closer to the spirit. We are then to refrain from doing those things for 40 days.  Tho ultimate goal is to purify yourself so the spirit can be your constant companion without any distractions.   So during our lunch hour, that is just what i did.  Its crazy how simple things make such a large impact on the work.  Once i had made the list, i knew i was going to have to rely solely on the Lord for strength.  Later in the evening, we were about to head home to break our fast and have dinner.  We felt impressed to go see a less active sister before we were to go home.  I am so glad that we acted on that impression.  When we arrived, we noticed a great change in the countenance of this less active sister.   She has been praying and reading her scriptures non stop, and is just glowing with the light of the spirit.  Sister Porter and I were both turning to a scripture, and noticed that it was the same one.  In that moment, we knew we had been unified by the power of the spirit.  It was a great experience.

WEDNESDAY we loaded tons of pizza into gallon sized bags. haha wednesdays are just pizza days for us at the thrift store.  We had an awesome lesson with a less active brother.  We had Sister Ard come with us.  It was so great to see the spirit prompt her to share certain experiences and her testimony.  Members bring such a special spirit to our lessons.  We decided to go see some potential investigators.  We visited with Robert and Trish.  They are a super nice older couple.  Robert shared with us how God has played a role in his life.  From what he shared, all i could think about was that he was prepared.  I just felt very drawn to him. All i can do is just pray for the right moment to share the gospel with him and his wife.  It would bless their lives so much!

THURSDAY was another day of weekly planning.  It went really well.  We were able to plan for everyone, and even think of less actives we feel we need to see this week.  After weekly planning we had a great lesson with liz.  She is so excited for her baptism.  She is just doing everything she needs to do to be prepared.  We talked to her about missionary work.  She seemed pretty excited about that.  We committed her to invite people to her Baptism.  We had dinner with another less active family.  They are so cute.  They just need to come to church! haha

FRIDAY was zone conference!  It was amazing. I always love hearing from our leaders, especially president and sister smith.  They are such great examples to me.  We learned a lot about the fundamentals of missionary work. Namely, We invite, they commit, we follow up.  That is the basis for teaching repentance and baptizing converts, which is our goal as missionaries.  Our Purpose is to invite others to come unto Christ by helping them receive the restored Gospel through faith in Jesus Christ and His Atonement.  Repentance and the Atonement go hand in hand.   I cant even put into words the things i learned.  But i was definitely edified, and motivated to do my best with the time i have.  President said that once we take out all the fluff of missionary work ( sleeping, eating , meetings, ect)  we only get 7.5 months of pure proselyting as sisters and 10 for elders.  So that was pretty much a game changer for me.  After zone conference we came back to bonifay and had dinner with some members.  They had invited a non member to come, but she couldn't make it in time.  But these two are just awesome members.  I know their daughter who is serving a mission in the st. george ut mission.  The first ward she served in was my singles ward back home in good ol price 'merica haha.

SATURDAY was another great day of service.  We went and cleared some more limbs for some members.  It was super fun.  Brother Kelly said he will never forget sister Porter and Me.  He says that the work we have done has really impressed him.  So that made us super happy :)  We ended up contacting some referrals that afternoon.  One of them we got a return appointment with.  So we are pretty excited about that.  We had dinner with a member at the Hong Kong Buffet before heading to the Adult session of Stake Conference. Bonifay sure does love to feed their missionaries.

SUNDAY was awesome!  We attended Stake Conference.  We got to hear from so many wonderful speakers who were just full of the spirit.  President and Sister Smith Spoke as well.  Its always great to hear from them.  The speaker that touched me the most was the Stake President, President Fish.  He just got called maybe a few months ago, so he is new.  But he is all for hastening the work of salvation through members and missionary work.  It was really neat to hear an feel the spirit speak through him.  Liz and Mikayla were interviewed for their baptisms.  They both are ready and very excited!  Sister Porter and I are too!  We also were asked to speak on missionary work next week in sacrament meeting.  So hopefully that all goes as the Lord would like it to :)

Through all the crazy, there is one thing that I know for sure.  The Gospel of Jesus Christ blesses individuals and Families.  I know that our savior lives.  If y'all ever get a free moment, go to followhim.mormon.org  It is the easter initiative that the church has brought forth.  It is powerful!

Love y'all!
have a blessed week!

The B's of Bonifay

Hey y'all!

This week has been pretty bloomin'  awesome! Yes, i picked up a new southern word :)  Any-who.. this week was full of adventure, spirit, and blessings.

MONDAY was pretty great.  Sister Porter found out that we are allowed to play Phase 10 on P-days, so we had a pretty intense round.  She thinks she won, but we weren't keeping score.  I secretly was in my head, and i totally won haha but I will let her think she is all that and a bag of chips :)  Pdays are usually pretty chill.  We had dinner at a less active family's home.  The Benton's are just the best!

TUESDAY was great! We had a very spiritual and edifying District Meeting.  I love when I come away from district meeting feeling inspired, and motivated to do better.  We saw a less active sister that lives in the nursing home where we serve ice cream.  She is such a sweet lady.  It just makes me so sad to see elderly people whose family pretty much abandons them.  We had a great lesson with Liz!  We taught the famous Law of Chastity and Eternal Marriage.  She really enjoyed it.  Liz has committed to stop drinking coffee by the 15 of March and is doing so well!  She is just awesome!
We had another great lesson on the Plan of Salvation with Lauren Morris.  Her husband is a less active member, and they are expecting their first baby in July.  She wants to raise her family in the church and has the desire to be baptized.  What was great about this lesson, though, was that we had it at a member's home.  It was great to see the members get excited to answer questions that Lauren had and share their sweet testimonies with her.  The spirit definitely guided that lesson.  We are planning to meet with Lauren again tomorrow.
We were also able to see Ariel!  We were finally able to bring up the b word... BAPTISM! haha She has been thinking about it, and wants to be baptized so she can feel the spirit.  There are still some things that are holding her back, but as she continues to rely on the lord and search for that spirit, she will be able to make those sacred covenants with our father in heaven.

WEDNESDAY we had a great lesson with a less active brother, Steve.  Sister Cosson, who is like the greatest ward missionary of all time, came with us.  We talked about repentance and how it can be a joyful experience.  We also met up with a less active sister who was needing some help with her yard work, so we were able to set up a time to come back and help her with that.  She has a beautiful old victorian home!  If you know me... you know that i love beautiful old houses and antiques.  So i am as happy as can be!  We also visited with another less active sister, Joyce.  We shared the conference talk " Your Next Step" by Randall K Bennett of the Seventy with her.  I absolutely love that talk.   "Your loving Heavenly Father and His Son, Jesus Christ, invite you to take your next step toward Them. Don’t wait. Take it now." I encourage y'all to take the time to read that! :)

THURSDAY is weekly planning day.  We plan for what seems like forever!  But hey, proper planning prevents poor performance! We served ice cream at the nursing home!  That is always an adventure.  We then had an awesome member present lesson with Liz.  We talked about Tithing, and Fasting.  The spirit was just so strong.  Liz has committed to be Baptized on March 26th!  We are so excited for her!  What is even cooler is that she will be confirmed on Easter!  That will be such a special day for her!

FRIDAY was kind of an off day for us.  We were out trying to see people, but things just didn't seem to go as planned.  But that is okay.  We know that the Lord asks us to do hard things and put forth effort.  He is just helping us to gain his trust.  I think both sister Porter and I were able to realize that we can do better at relying wholly on the Lord.   We were able to volunteer at the thrift store where i found a really neat picture of Christ.  Because we volunteer, we get free things sometimes, so i got to bring home the picture of Christ!

SATURDAY was a fun filled day.  We went to brother and sister Kelly's house to help them with clearing some land so they can put a trailer in for their daughter.  That is always fun to spend time with the Kelly's.  We also helped Tammy, a less active sister, with packing up some things in preparation for a move.  We later had dinner with Tammy.  We watched the 20 minute restoration video with her and discussed the need for a restoration.  Tammy is making so many great changes in her life!  She has quit smoking, and on saturday, she dumped all her BOOS down the drain so she wouldn't be tempted drink them.  She is just so awesome!

SUNDAY was wonderful.  It was fast and testimony meeting.  Those are my favorite.  I love to hear the precious testimonies of the members in the bonifay ward.  There are some primary children that bear the most beautiful testimonies and touches my heart every time i hear them.  Ariel, Liz, Mikayla, Tammy and a couple other less active members were all present for that spirit filled meeting.  After church, we had a great lesson on fasting, tithing, and Sabbath Day observance with our other investigator, Mikayla.  She is so anxious and eager to learn.  What is even greater is that she had committed to be Baptized on March 20!  She is well on her way.  She has her family and friends supporting her every step of the way.  Sunday evening, we were able to see the Benton family again.  We discussed the Plan of Salvation with them.  Mike is working on becoming worthy to receive the Melchizedek Priesthood so they can be sealed as a family.  They will both have to work hard and start attending church, but the desire is there.  Our direction is far more important than our speed.  So they are well on their way.

I am just loving every minute of my mission.  Yes, at times it is hard and can be discouraging.  But what brings the most comfort and happiness is to know that this is the Lord's work.  We are on His errand.   I want to share with y'all my testimony.  I know with all my heart that the gospel of Jesus Christ is true.  It is a perfect plan for each of us to follow, and as we do, we will be prepared to return to our Heavenly Father and have Eternal life.  I know that Christ lives.  He is there.  He knows how to help us.  He is the only person that knows exactly how we feel or what we are going through.  It is through Jesus Christ that we are able to participate in the blessing of Repentance.  I love attending church and partaking of the sacrament.  That is such a sacred time that we must prepare for each week.  It is a time set aside for us to think of the savior and renew our covenants with our father in heaven.  I know that Joseph Smith truly did see God the Father and His Son.  It is through Joseph Smith that Christ was able to restore the fullness of his gospel on the earth. I know that the Book of Mormon is true.  I know that we can come to know that Jesus is the Christ as we study, ponder, and pray about the book.  I am so grateful that Heavenly father shows us his love through living prophets and apostles who are led by our living savior.

Have a Blessed week!

Half Way!

Hey Y'all!
I hope y'all have been having a great week!  This week has been all over the place for Sister Porter and I.  But we both are learning and growing together.
I haven't shared much about who we are teaching, so i will do my best to describe the people here and how much they truly are progressing :)

Ariel:  Ariel is a sweet 24 year old single mother of three little munchkins.  Kiley (5) Patrick (3) and Lukas (18months).  They are the cutes little kids ever! They are just full of so much personality!  They love when we come over because they like to take pictures with our cameras.  Ariel is going to cosmetology school in Chipley.  So we have a few things in common.  Its fun to ask her how school was and talk about how much we dislike perms haha.    She is super good at anything with hair though!  Hopefully we can find time for her to cut my hair soon!
Ariel has been going through a rough time lately.  She has just felt very alone and overwhelmed.  The other day after our lesson on Faith and Repentance, she text us.  She told us that she was just praying to know if she would be okay and if her family would be okay.  She then flipped open the scriptures to a random spot and started reading.  She turned right to Alma 37: 32-37 which reads:  "And now, my son, remember the words which I have spoken unto you; trust not those secret plans unto this people, but teach them an everlasting hatred against sin and iniquity.  Preach unto them repentance, and faith on the Lord Jesus Christ; teach them to humble themselves and to be meek and lowly in heart; teach them to withstand every temptation of the devil, with their faith on the Lord Jesus Christ.  Teach them to never be weary of good works, but to be meek and lowly in heart; for such shall find rest to their souls. O, remember, my son, and learn wisdom in thy youth; yea, learn in thy youth to keep the commandments of God. Yea, and cry unto God for all thy support; yea, let all thy doings be unto the Lord, and whithersoever thou goest let it be in the Lord; yea, let all thy thoughts be directed unto the Lord; yea, let the affections of thy heart be placed upon the Lord forever. Counsel with the Lord in all thy doings, and he will direct thee for good; yea, when thou liest down at night lie down unto the Lord, that he may watch over you in your sleep; and when thou risest in the morning let thy heart be full of thanks unto God; and if ye do these things, ye shall be lifted up at the last day."    It was wonderful to see that she is praying and turning to the scriptures for guidance.  She is such a strong woman!  The spirit is working on her, she just has to allow that Spirit into her heart.  Sadly, she wasn't able to attend church this week due to being sick, but she has been to church every  other week since i have been here in bonifay.  She is just the sweetest lady you will ever meet.  She has been through some rough times in her life, but seems to always pull out with some positivity.

Liz: Liz is a daughter to a recent convert in the Bonifay ward.  She is 54 and moved back with her mother due to her mother having health issues.  She is so eager to learn everything she can.  It is awesome!  She had a baptismal date picked out for Feb. 27th, but couldn't attend church enough times to keep that date.  But she didn't let that discourage her.  She is on the right path.  She is doing everything she needs to to be ready for the waters of baptism.  I really admire that she is just taking her time and making sure she is comfortable and truly converted before she makes any decisions.  Her mother has been less active since she was baptized in June, so it is wonderful to see the effect that Liz has on her mother.  They came to church yesterday and LOVED it.  So this week we are planning to set a baptismal date with her because she has been thinking and praying about it.

Mikayla: Mikayla is a sweet 18 year old girl we picked up just yesterday.  She was being taught the discussions by some other sisters in a different stake.  Mikayla comes to church with her grandparents every week in bonifay, so the other sisters said it would probably be best if we taught her since she will be wanting to be baptized in Bonifay.  We had an amazing lesson with her yesterday afternoon.  She too is just eager to learn all that she can.  She is wanting to be baptized sometime in March before Easter, so it will be coming up pretty quick :)  She is just amazing.  She has a strong spirit about her and has the desire to draw near to Christ.

We have a few less active members we have been working with.  They are loving the Book of Mormon and the power of prayer.   It is so amazing to me how much our Father in Heaven and the Savior are there for them without them even realizing it.  It just proves that they know us each individually.  They know our hopes, desires, and trials.  They are drawing nearer and nearer to them as they humble themselves and draw nearer to Heavenly Father and Christ.
I am just feeling so blessed to be part of such a great work.  The Lord is mindful of all of his children.  I am just so privileged to be the tool or vessel that the Lord uses in this area.  I am learning so much from the scriptures as i study them with the intent of learning how i can help the people here in Bonifay.  They are wonderful!

This saturday, we did some service at Brother and Sister Kelly's.  He likes to make us breakfast before he works us.  So this week he made grits and eggs with sausage and biscuits.  Oh my goodness... that just might be my new favorite breakfast.  Sadly i forgot to take a picture, but just know that it was delicious!  We hauled some tree limbs and cleared out the large pieces of wood from the trees they cut down.  It was a blast.

This week has just been filled with the Love of the Lord.  2 Nephi 25:26,28,29 ; 2 Nephi 26:33 reads, And we talk of Christ, we rejoice in Christ, we preach of Christ, we prophesy of Christ, and we write according to our prophecies, that our children may know to what source they may look for a remission of their sins. 28 And now behold, my people, ye are a stiffnecked people; wherefore, I have spoken plainly unto you, that ye cannot misunderstand. And the words which I have spoken shall stand as a testimony against you; for they are sufficient to teach any man the right way; for the right way is to believe in Christ and deny him not; for by denying him ye also deny the prophets and the law.

29 And now behold, I say unto you that the right way is to believe in Christ, and deny him not; and Christ is the Holy One of Israel; wherefore ye must bow down before him, and worship him with all your might, mind, and strength, and your whole soul; and if ye do this ye shall in nowise be cast out. 33 For none of these iniquities come of the Lord; for he doeth that which is good among the children of men; and he doeth nothing save it be plain unto the children of men; and he inviteth them all to come unto him and partake of his goodness; and he denieth none that come unto him, black and white, bond and free, male and female; and he remembereth the heathen; and all are alike unto God, both Jew and Gentile.

Christ is not going to deny anyone the chance to come unto him and embrace to joy that comes from his Gospel and Plan of Happiness.  I am so grateful for our Savior and the knowledge we have of his infinite  atoning sacrifice.  The gift of repentance is one that has truly blessed my life and one that i can see blesses others.  It is only through Christ all things are possible.
