Hey Y'all!
I hope this finds everyone doing well!
This
week has just been all sorts of crazy. It was a really rough week in a
lot of ways, but somehow, there are always tender mercies of the Lord
that seem to make everything better.
At the
end of every transfer, i take a moment and reflect on what i have
learned. I feel impressed to share some things from those moments of
reflection.
This transfer has certainly been one of the best,
if not the best. I have grown in a lot of ways, and i just hope that
same growth continues. It is crazy that 6 transfers have com and gone.
That is almost halfway! That is just insane. I am loving every minute
of it though.
How has my Testimony been strengthened?
This
transfer my testimony of Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ has truly
been strengthened. I have been able to rely on them in ways that I
haven't before. My relationship with them is just beginning. I just am
so grateful that we are able to pray to a loving Heavenly Father. I
honestly do not know what i would do without Heavenly Father. My
testimony in the Savior has been strengthened as well. I know that he
is there to lift, encourage, inspire and bless our lives. Coming to
that realization has helped me to more fully be a witness of the
Savior. My love for the scriptures has also continued to grow. They
truly are the words of God. and bring such specific answers to questions
we have.
What have I learned from my companion?
Well
Sister Porter is just the best! She is not afraid to be herself. That
is something i struggle with at times. She really cares about people.
She just has a tender heart towards everyone. She is able to see the
good in every situation. I have also learned how important it is to
work in unity as a companionship. that has helped us to work hard
together. Knowing that Sister Porter genuinely cares just helps me so
much. It helps me to know that I am not alone at any time. That just
motivates me to be that type of companion.
Tender Mercies of the Lord:
This
transfer is just packed full of them. The fact that there are people
here that know my family members brings me so much comfort. This
transfer i have begun to "come to myself". Meaning that I am
recognizing my divine wort and potential. This transfer has been such a
spiritual one for me. It has just motivated me to strive to do and be
better every day for the Lord.
I hope that I
am able to continue growing spiritually. I love the way I feel, and
that is true and lasting happiness. I am happy now, and that is all
because of the gospel of Jesus Christ. I am in the beginning phases of
my conversion, and all I want to do is just do all I can to deepen that
conversion.
I know that God is only limited
if we do not ask and seek for His council. We are the only ones who can
limit God. For God is limitless. I know that the power of sincere
prayer is real. The way we speak to our Father in Heaven is through
prayer. The way he speaks to us is through the scriptures. I invite
all who are willing to take a moment and think about how our Father in
Heaven sees you. Seek to see yourself in that same way. Your testimony
will be strengthened, and your personal conversion deepened.
